We have expected litters of Moyen Poodle Puppies!
1) Mid-2025: Freya & Cash
As all studies and science in the past few years has shown us that it is actually healthier for a female to be bred each cycle and not “rested” between cycles as we used to do, theriogenologists (veterinarians who are specialists in reproduction) are now strongly counseling breeders NOT to skip heat cycles, as it’s actually detrimental to the female to do so. According to the reproductive vets, best practice currently is, once you begin, to breed her each cycle and then spay when she is retired so she doesn’t have too many “empty” cycles. Our small standard, Freya, is expected to be bred to small moyen Cash for her retirement litter in early 2025. Her Moyen poodle pups are expected to be born around April/May 2025 and going home in summer 2025. Freya is a sweet, super gentle girl who is wonderfully calm inside and playful outside. She has, as all of our dogs do, a wonderful off-switch; she matches her energy to yours. Cash is an absolute bundle of joy and a total character, complete with the perfect poodle side eye. (Read more about them and see more pics by clicking on their underlined names above!)
Both Freya and Cash are tri-colors (basically a black and white parti with tan eyebrows and cheeks). We are expecting tri-colors in black and brown, and partis in black, brown, red, apricot, and cream. Expected mature weight range for pups is 25-35ish pounds and height range likely from 17-21″.
Because it’s such a small breeding program, you are definitely best off going through the process and getting on the Reservation List, rather than waiting for available pups to be announced. My pups are almost always spoken for well before they are born; it is quite rare that there are pups still available once they are born.
Reservation List is already FULL for this litter. HOWEVER, people do sometimes ask to switch to a later litter as we get closer, which frees up a spot. Plus, mom may have more pups than my estimate. Additionally, I may not keep a pup, opening up another spot. So I will continue to accept questionnaires and put you on an backup list in case a spot does indeed open up. I do not take deposits for that list. If a spot opens up, you will be transferred to the Reservation List in the order you came onto the backup list. A deposit will be required once on the Reservation List if pregnancy has been confirmed. To get on the “backup list”, please read The Process, then fill out the New Puppy Questionnaire, and then speak with me on the phone. (See “The Process“.) If all goes well, we’ll get you on the backup list.

2) End of 2025: Tilly & ?? (sire undecided)

Our moyen, Tilly, is expected to be bred for her first litter in late 2025. Tilly is a sweet, funny, amazingly bright girl with a fantastic temperament. She has, as all of our dogs do, a wonderful off-switch and knows how to be calm inside even though loving to play outside. (Read more about her and see more pics by clicking on her underlined name above!)
Tilly is a gorgeous apricot parti (means she’s white with patches of apricot) and is just about 31 pounds.
